60 seconds part 2
Here's my creation from yesterday's "challenge." I am really falling in love with doing these found object pieces. I'm toying with the idea of offering it as an illustration style but I just don't know. I'll keep doing some research and see what markets might have an interest in it (I'm figuring mainly editorial).
I'm waiting until I have a few more pieces together to set up an official shop, but this one is for sale as well.
**This one is $20 US + shipping (payment through PayPal). It measures 3.5"x3.5" (includes overhang objects). **
Email me if you're interested.
I've also finished up one piece for a swap. They wanted a jungle theme and I think it turned out pretty cute. To the left is a peek at part of it. Now I'm finishing up another piece for a baby room. It's a pirate theme. I've had a little pirate in my sketchbook for ages so I finally get to use it. Pirates must be pretty big right now, I guess because of the movie and such. I'm working on a client project right now with a pirate theme, and have seen several other illustrators doing pirate-ie things. Arrg!
