Where illustrations go to die
I'm cleaning up the studio, again (with a 3 year old, it gets destroyed all over again in a few hours), and thought I'd show you where most of my clay illustration work goes to die. I have several boxes with little bits and pieces. When I finally get a new studio built, I think I'll do a big collage of all these little bits for the wall. Most people cringe when they find out that I don't keep all my pieces in tack. I just don't have the storage to keep them all and a lot of the time I don't secure each piece to the background so I can move them as needed during photography.
Oh, and I'm going to be bold in making a statement here (since I'll have to actually keep this personal deadline now!)...on Friday, July 1st I will be launching that new illustrator marketing site I mentioned earlier that will encompass all creative jobs. I've got a lot to do but I really want to launch it that day, since that's my 2 year anniversay for working for myself full time...Living the CREATIVE dream. Stay- tuned!!
